Volstate Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 On Title Preview, still going from 6 to 59 queries on my home page. AJAX only adds 2. Title Hover is also putting the quotes right on the front of the index before even pointing to anything. There appears to be an issue with it (see attached). Ajax Hover works fine...
Peter F. Posted August 21, 2010 Author Posted August 21, 2010 Apologies, I was away on holidays. I'll be looking into the issues asap.

Simon Adams Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 I tried to download but the option to download or purchase seems to not be functioning , is this an issue or is it local to my browser?
don-il Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 I have a little problem, It works great but a large square window where I will order a rectangular window. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me
glorify Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Grrrrr. This is why I HATE paid mods. I bought this with the understanding it would work, or at the very least have support questions answered. Been pretty close to a month since the author responded. Look, if you are doing a paid mod, support it. If not, make it free. Can we get a refund if this isn't supported/fixed? As it is, it has been disabled on my site WAY more than enabled since purchase.
Peter F. Posted September 17, 2010 Author Posted September 17, 2010 This has been taking up the majority of my time. I realise that I have not replied to the thread here for a while but I have been actively searching for the causes of the issues which are occurring on your forums in the code on local installs of IP.Board. It has been mentioned in the past that support for this modification is mainly provided through the tickets system/support forums at my site The Mod Station. This is the primary outlet for support for all of my modifications which many of the people here are not using. Volstate and glorify if you could pm me ACP/FTP info for me to work through the issues on your sites asap I would be most obliged.

Volstate Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Not that it's a big deal but in Internet Explorer the hover times out after a few seconds even though you continue to point at the topic. In Firefox it'll stay until you quit pointing at the topic. Personally, I can live with this small issue but I just wanted you to know :)
Peter F. Posted September 19, 2010 Author Posted September 19, 2010 That particular issue is due to a built in limitation with IE. I am looking into a way around this.
Peter F. Posted September 20, 2010 Author Posted September 20, 2010 Just to note, I've investigated the additional queries on page load and yes in 1.1.0 there was a huge amount of additional queries added to the board index and forum views. This bug is fixed in v1.1.1 and above. Immediately after upgrading to v1.1.1 it may appear as if theere is a similarly high number of noticed additional queries being added. These additional queries are only present for the very first page load (where a large number of uncached topics are present) as the caches for the hover text were cleared on the upgrade. This clearing of the caches was necessitated by a change in the way that the caches were parsed and stored between v1.1.0 and v1.1.1. Once the caches have been updated then no additional queries will be needed/present as the caches for a given topic are updated each time a user posts in a topic (assuming that one is using the LAST POST option) or edits the OP of a topic (assuming that one is using the FIRST POST option).
Clickfinity Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Just to qualify this, I've upgraded to v1.1.2 tonight and noticed a big difference in speed (faster) on my forums and forum view queries reduced from 95-100 down to just 7-10. Good update to a good mod. Thanks, Shaun :D
Peter F. Posted September 21, 2010 Author Posted September 21, 2010 I've refreshed the download of v1.1.2 with a fix for a bug that was causing some pages to be loaded twice when the app was activated and FURLs were active on the forums. The bug does not affect forums on which FURLs are not active, however it is still recommended that the refreshed version be applied. If you have already downloaded version 1.1.2 please redownload the package, upload the contents of the upload directory to your forums, and run the "Reimport Application Hooks" tool from your ACP.
Buskopan Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 I like the application But for some reason it shows the date of post, name of post and the avatar in one place. Is it possible to put them bit far away from each other like it happens on default IPB skin?? Something wrong with my skin ?
Buskopan Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 sorry. forgot to upload other-skin-image-folders/ After upload date went to it's proper position. but Avatar still up on the topic name Do I need to reinstall the application to fix that ?
