Booth Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Any idea what could be causing this?[#CSTART-0] There was an error connecting with the chat room. Please notify an administrator. It all seemed to be working fine and then I went in there today and this is what I got. Here: http://www.blackburnweb.co.uk/index.php?app=ipchatEdit: Seems it's happening on IP.Chat here too... http://community.invisionpower.com/index.php?app=ipchat
Wolfie Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Probably the daily maintenance going on. Try again in about 5 more minutes and it should be working.
Gaffney Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Sam here, then IPS front page went down and now my forum has went down.
Wolfie Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Chat still not responding. This does not bode well.
karen65 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Likewise - no chat and no access to client area. I just assumed it was my site - been having troubles all week...
Gaffney Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 A big upgrade perhaps ? but why did it have to happen right now when the chat is mostly used, during a celtic match argh I have about 25 people all using the shoutbox instead.
PSXHosting Ltd. Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 I hope since they dont give us the option to host this ourselves, that there is staff around to fix problems like these all days of the week, specially for those who pay for this addon.
SkimPappa Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 The site seems to be lagging and dropping out a lot lately
Zammbi Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Yes our chat is down too (looks like the IP site is also down). Wasting my time thinking it was my fault. I hope it's return soon.
AtariAge Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 My chat room is also down, with the message: "[#CSTART-3] There was an error connecting with the chat room. Please notify an administrator. " ..Al
Management Charles Posted January 30, 2010 Management Posted January 30, 2010 We're experiencing some network issues impacting our own web site. It's also impacting the chat. Should be resolved soon.
Management Charles Posted January 30, 2010 Management Posted January 30, 2010 Should be back online now.
karen65 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 I've got this now: [#CJOIN-5] The room id supplied is invalid. Please notify an administrator. EDIT: Changed to this: [#CSTART-0] There was an error connecting with the chat room. Please notify an administrator.
PSXHosting Ltd. Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Hey, any chance of offering package with 100/125 users instead of going from 50 straight to 250?
Zammbi Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 100/125 users instead I asked that. But they said not currently. Otherwise I would of gotten the 100 instead of the 50.
Booth Posted January 30, 2010 Author Posted January 30, 2010 Should be back online now. Thanks for the updates Charles :)
