jenolan Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 I would just like to express my thanks (and admiration) for the way the crew here are keeping us informed about how v3 is going. No hype no promises or waffle just letting all of us know what's cooking and how things are going. This has to be the best example I have every seen of keeping customers informed without becoming a huge vapourware party Great job guys! Thanks, Larry
bfarber Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Thank you very much for the comments. Our users have all but begged us to be more open about the development process, what we're working on, and so forth so we thought utilizing our blog product to bring everyone regular updates was a great way to do so. :) We'll do our best to keep it coming. ;)
Connor T Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 I love how there going to let the developers develop and then release it. So maybe I can get my points system, arcade and chatbox on Day 1! Can't wait too see what it looks like. Thanks! Please take time making the conversion. From phpBB3 to IPB2 all my links turned to "http://" and all my attachments uploaded wrong and became large black boxes. I don't want to go through fixing bazillions of links again.
Jυra Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 We'll do our best to keep it coming. ;) Even though I have some concerns, having new info often does help a lot.
Andrew-T Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 I just want also thank you for giving us lots of info on IPB 3 and other Plugins and other Misc Apps. Keep up the great work on Posting News + Blogs! I enjoy being a customer for +3 years!
Josh Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Thanks, it's always great to get feedback like this - we'll try to get the information coming :)
Management Matt Posted October 23, 2008 Management Posted October 23, 2008 Thanks for the feedback! The blogging process has been very helpful to us as we have received some very good feedback on the features we've written about and some suggestions have already made it into the codebase! You guys are already helping us shape IP.Board 3.0.0 before it hits beta.
