Brandon D
What flavor of linux would you suggest I use for a dedicated server hosting Apache 2.x and MySQL community server 5.x? Also, what are the main differences in MySQL Community server and the Enterprise server? At what point should you go with the Enterprise server? Bono
If i don't use CP I use debian etch, and if i do then Redhat 4 or 5. You can check on their website they are basically the same but when you purchase enterprise version you get mysql support, programs to monitor mysql. Mysql decided they won't make difference between open source and their customers. At least when we talk about mysql, so support and some extra programs are plus. W13
Use Debian Linux, and instead of Apache, consider Lighttpd.
ErwinB
For a server use, I strongly suggest Debian.
