Grammar Error

"Read" pronounced "red" when talking about past tense. e.g. I have already read that book

Then "Read" pronouced "reed" when talking about present or future tense. e.g. I am going to read that book.

Your brain has to work out the context from the words around it to figure out which pronounceation to use.

I think you'd only use 'nor' if you were also using the word 'neither'.

But I think it's fine as it is right now.

Not that it *really* matters but "nor" is used with any negative, not just "neither", so the use of "nor" in that sentance would be justified as it would be preceded by "not".

I'm not sure whether "nor" is required in that sentance, or whether either "or" or "nor" would be acceptable, however.

Actually "nor" is only used with "neither" as noted by Michael above. And it's "sentence" not "sentance". ;)

lol, you're right it is sentence.

But nor can be used with any negative according to various dictionaries:

nor

What I (and Michael) meant was that "nor" could not be used in the following:

This forum is not read nor monitored by our administrators or moderators.

It would need to be:

This forum is neither read nor monitored by our administrators or moderators.

Obviously the word "nor" can be used in other contexts, as you illustrated.
