Hi

Some members are having the following errors on very large threads. We never had this problem before the upgrade to mysql 5.0.4.5 and PHP 5.2.5

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 326061 bytes) in /home/*******/public_html/forums/sources/classes/class_display.php on line 345

Does anyone have any ideas what i need to change?? the server has 4 gig of memory and plent to go round.

thankx

That`s something I do not know I`m afraid , as I have only ever had shared server environments.

Hopefully someone else with a dedi will be able to advise on this, although 64 / 128 seems to spring to mind  , although its not really relevant, I run my localhost wamp at 128.

I`l move your topic to "Server Management, Resources, Optimization" anyway. :)
