Its telling me in adminCP that i should upgrade to 2.3, i am currently on version 2.2.2, i wanna upgrade but wont that replace my current version? how do i upgrade so it doesnt effect anything just change it to 2.3?

Your settings, posts, memberbase, etc. will remain the same. If you added any modifications, however, they will be lost unless they are components, which may require little or no updates.

Yea i dont have any modifications, i so i can just go and upload the files under the same folder as a normal installation or just upload the "upload" folder?

Upload the 'upload' folder (make sure you DON'T rename conf_global.php.dist to conf_global.php) to your forum directory, overwriting all files. Then visit http://yourforumdirectory/upgrade to finish upgrading.

Do i just upload replacing the other upload folder?
