There should be a setting in moderator-options to turn on "moderator is able to post in closed topics".

There already is.

• ACP > Management [tab]
• Users and Groups > Manage User Groups
• Click on grey button next to moderator group > Edit

Scroll down to Moderation Permissions

yes, but then they are aple to post in EVERY closed topic wheter they are mod in this forum or not :(
