Would you not take issue with a member who had created more than one account? What legitimate reason would there be for doing it?

vBulletin has done it so certainly IPS can manage it, right?

I don't think it would be hard.
When you merge usernames have a form that asks

• "Which username would you like to use?" (Have a drop down box that contains all the users you have selected)
• "Which email address would you like to use?" (Have a drop down box that contains all the emails addresses from the users you have selected)
• "Which usergroup would uou like to place the user in?" (Have a drop down box that contains all the usergroups that the users you have selected is in).

Then add all the posts, and whatever else.

Already there is a mod out for merging members for 2.1.x boards by ntd1712 at ize...may be he can upgrade the same for 2.2 also when the Rc version is released...

Merging members and boards are 2 different things . Merging members on the SAME board is what I am refering to.

Say like I have Sinistra 1 and Sinistra 2 on the same board. One has like 500 posts the other one has almost 800 When you merge the 2 together you combine their posts into one account. so instead of having 800 for one and 500 for the other you have a post count of 1300 Posts and the posts merged show up in that member's profile

There's a big problem with having a merge member feature built in. What about blogs and gallery (especially blog)? A member cannot have two blogs, yet what if both members had a blog? Or what about other custom components? If a custom component had reference to that member id and both members were merged, that leaves information in those tables that are no null. The only way I see this happening is if there was a file where you could add custom functions to occur when a member was merged (of some sort). That way if you had the gallery installed it would merge gallery information... although blog is still a problem.

That's a modded board. I don't believe that's a default feature. (Take a look, "Member Snoop" does not exist in 2.2 Retail Beta). Although I certainly am curious how he modded an encoded script.

Yeah if you look at it closer the icons on the tabs have a grey background. 2.2 has an "auto-fix" that fixes this bug in IE. Seeing as the translucency isnt working in that screen shot, it isnt 2.2.

Nicer try lol I knew it wasn'tin the admin CP of 2.2 nor 2.1 better try harder then that if you are going to fool anyone. I think there is a Vbulletin skin out that looks like the IPB admin CP. if you notice Topids and posts is not in any of the IPB setups.

and if you notice below every content box in the admin CP it has the IPB copyright so thats another flaw of this scamer's mistakes.

One, he's not a scammer.
Two, that's not vBulletin. That's the IPB 2.1 ACP.
Three, Topics and Posts is in the 2.1 ACP (Just maybe not THERE).

Four, your first clue should have been "Source Usernamed"

Before IPB 2.2 final release, (that means the release or RC versions) ntd did convert 2.2 ACP into 2.1 ACP. Whoever still using 2.1.x and want to have the ACP look of IPB 2.2, you can check it here
