sonyinsider Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 I need to know this, because I work for an ISP and they are looking for a new ticketing system: will there be a ticket system that the CSR's can write into that is not based of chat logs?
Adam Kinder Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 I need to know this, because I work for an ISP and they are looking for a new ticketing system: will there be a ticket system that the CSR's can write into that is not based of chat logs? If you can, start a new thread in the Invision Connect forum and we'll discuss it more there, that way I can keep everything consolidated into one forum :)
SjorsK Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 This is very nice. First Nexus, and now Connect... I'm liking this. Will definetly purchase this when it comes out. :)
Guest Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 I appreciate the announcements of yet more products but until they are followed up on I will not be getting too over excited. All of the products announced sound very promising but would it not be better to spend the time developing products that were announced over a year ago and THEN consider expanding the line-up?

While we appreciate your concern, please understand that these products are being developed by different developers, so they are not taking away from existing development. :)
Wilko Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Erm, is Adam developing this? He certainly makes it seem like it :)
Adam Kinder Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Erm, is Adam developing this? He certainly makes it seem like it :) Yes, I'm developing Connect :)
Invisionary Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Yes, I'm developing Connect :)AND the Gallery? :ermm:
Guest Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 While we appreciate your concern, please understand that these products are being developed by different developers, so they are not taking away from existing development. :) Thanks for clearing that one up Lindy, good to hear. Seems like the organisation here has improved significantly in the past 12 months. I've seen it in the past, too few developers developing too many products, none ever coming to a workable final product as a result. Looking forward to the releases.
Management Lindy Posted October 21, 2005 Management Posted October 21, 2005 AND the Gallery? :ermm: Brandon will be working on Gallery to free Adam up for products and services such as this. As much as we appreciate the concern, this topic is really intended to discuss IP.Connect itself, not our allocation of resources. Thank you for your cooperation. :)

LandonC Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Very well done Invision Power Services, yet another elite service has been introduced :)

elj Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Yet another developer change - NOT GOOD. well IPC seems a good idea Adam always said he wouldn't be working on Gallery permenantly, that he was a developer for IPS, not the developer of IPG. :) Anyway... from looking around the website, it looks like a very cool service, although screenshots would be good... :-"

I'v submitted my concerns to management using the feedback form.

I'v submitted my concerns to management using the feedback form. I apologize for any inconvenience, however, would you mind resubmitting your concerns via the feedback form? E-mail routing was recently changed and not all submissions from the form were being processed. Thank you to pbm for pointing this out. :)
Jasonawojo Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Invision Power Connect sounds very promising, and its integration with Nexus should make it most useful to businesses. :)

Thank you for your cooperation. :) So, erm... where exactly can we discuss Brandon taking over the Gallery? All the product forums (including the Gallery) are divided into Suggestions and Ideas (not intended for product discussions), Customer Hints and Tips (nope, not here either), Customer to Customer Assistance (hmmm, it's not really assistance is it), Bug Reports (nah). Well, that clears that up then
jucs Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Heck, I'd just like to see something completed. Whatever happened to IP dynamic? Is it dead? Or is it on the 5 year development plan? ;)
