Ugggh. Who would have thought the Guest Signup Widget is part of the PROMOTE application....so permissions are set there for that. 😑 I got to where I am happy now enough. Thanks everyone for all the help! 🙂

So create a new Popular Contributors block and replace the default one with it and make it not seen by Guests?

Yeah, I follow. But, why is Popular Contributors the last of the blocks showing unlike all others? I would be fine with the bottom stats at this point. 🙂

Well, then all members would have to go to the forum via that top page that I just want to show to Guests. If I put Pages as default. Right?

It has all the forum stats on the bottom showing as well. The question is why are the only left and the popular contributors block too and all others are now gone after setting permissions for Guest to "no" for all applications. Same for the bottom stats. Seems odd frankly. Like a bug? Puzzled here. If I set Forum to No for guests, it then removes it all including the Guest block as it's defined.

Getting there. But there are still the forum stats and the right side still has a block. But, when I had forums not checked for Guests the Guest WIdget did not show either. All were gone. I went through every single application I believe.

So now these extra blocks are showing up for Guests. I don't know where to shut off the extra blocks. I went to permissions for the Guest Group and didn't find anything to shut off. The stats blocks and the popular contributors and who's online blocks.

I just installed pages. No clue how to put this simple graphic on a page and the login links up to the forum. 😞 Is there some sort of design guide out there?

I modified the user registration screen and now for the life of me don't remember where. Trying to use the search is useless it appears as you have to be smart enough what words to search with. It returns ZIP. No results. In the Theme area. Here is what I am talking about below. Thanks!

You are using MySQL 5.7 server. This version is not available for AlmaLinux 8. You first need to update your MySQL server to 8.0 or later. You can update to version 8.0 using the following command: /usr/local/cpanel/bin/whmapi1 start_background_mysql_upgrade version=8.0 Once the MySQL upgrade is finished, you can then retry to elevate to AlmaLinux 8. Nope, just subscriptions to different levels of board features. Just like the current subscriptions before subscriptions were born in the software.

So, I am moving to a cloud solution soon with Invision. I saw this under my "products" which are just subscriptions because there was no subscription feature back in the day when I created these. Is this going to be a problem? See the screen shot. I see that red text.

I have this: Purchasing ember badges and extra abilities as a member for a long time now. Back in the old days, there were no subscriptions. So, I had to put it under products as it was known for extra priv's for members and special badges. They are still under products today. Hence, one of my questions. Does what you state still apply?

I have had "products" for purchasing member badges and extra abilities as a member for a long time now. Probably when products first were a thing. I just noticed that in March 2023 products will be deprecated (see below). Question 1: I plan on moving to the cloud towards the end of the year -- probably in the Nov/Dec time frame. I have not set this up yet but will soon. With that said, do I need to do something before that with converting 3 "products" per forum (only 2 forums) to subscriptions before that? Question 2: I am retiring from running my forums and want to transfer things for both to a new owner at the time transferring 2 forums to the cloud with him paying the monthly charges for both of course after the transfer going forward. I am not sure how best to do that and I assume it's possible to do. Just planning in advance. 🙂 Thanks!
