I think Strike X is suggesting something to make it more clear for new members to check their emails.

Having said that, its easy enough to simply add something into the skin to display a nice message only to the validating group. I wrote a quick article to do this for 2.2 and 2.3.x, its on the Resource site...

This always happen, when they register a new account, many of them do not validate their account via email.

Maybe the message was not clear enough via email or on the screen after registration?

Did you get the same problem?

Yeah it seem the majority of users are not happy with 'View New Content' design.

Hopefully the developers/designer will listen our feedback seriously.

Eh? I don't want to disable PM Email.

I was talking about the PM content in the email.

When the user received an PM Email, a few member started replying to an email instead of clicking on the link to direct to Messenger.

They think its an email because it include PM content in the email.

When they start replying to an email, it direct to an Admin (forum) email.

Is there any way to switch off the PM content in the email.

I think you misunderstood from my question.

Once you are connected to Facebook Connect, your photo profile (IPB 3) are taken from facebook image. However it is not scaled and it does not store the forum. I can see it on my forum. Facebook profile photo is larger than IPB3 photo profile (same image).

I am sure there is a number of facebook API function to select the size of the photo. I will look into that.

- Profile Picture size is too small (If you are connected to facebook Connect), it is different size what you see on your profile on facebook.

- As Admin, how do I find out which users connected to 'facebook Connect' ?

- If guess want to reply in the topic, they can simply click on "faceboob connect" button next to "reply button". I have seen some blog does that.. very clever.

- Update Notifications/Feed to facebook when you posted on the forum.

This should be done automatically when upgrading; people are going to wonder where the comment system and all their comments went.

I am getting a few PM's asking me how to enable comments. Kinda annoying.

I also like all the new registration member to have comments enable as default as well.

I was kinda surprise this feature not in ACP (Well I couldn't find it)

I wanted to enable Profile Comments as default.

there is a $ in the contract that tells if You have a valid license You are able to get free updates :)

Well done releasing IPB 3 RC1! You did amazing job! :thumbsup:

After all hard work you did.. I think you should start charging people if they want to upgrade to IPB 3 Final for like $20 or something. I don't mind paying.

If they don't want to pay they will have to wait for 1 year for free upgrade to IPB 3 (with IPB licence). Of course IPB 2.3.x security update will be provided only.

Think about Marketing ;)
