  1. That did the trick. Thanks so much! It's odd that the search function wouldn't find those settings and they aren't listed in the menu system. Member notifications are but admin notifications aren't as far as I can tell. Thanks again!
  2. I feel really dumb. I have searched for an hour and I can't find the setting shown in the image above. When I use the search function in my admin panel it does not find it. What am I missing?
  3. Due to spammers I have set my forum so new registrations need approval before they can sign in. After doing that I no longer get an email notification that a new member has registered and the account needs my approval. Is there a setting I can change so I will get an email when someone's registration needs approved? Thanks for your help.
  4. Thanks for your reply. I was hoping for an easy way out but it appears the only way to do it right is is replace the linked images with uploaded attachments. I appreciate all the comments I've received.
  5. Surely there has to be and easier way. I was hoping for some way to do it automatically when I pate in the tutorial with photos.
  6. Yes, my community is self hosted. I have all the photos on my home computer. I was wanting to avoid all the hassle of having to do the modification like you describe. There use to be an option in IPS to save linked (copied) photos in a post directly to an IPS folder. There must still be some way to make that happen. Thanks for your reply!
  7. I need to copy some tutorials from my Joomla site to my Invision forum. The tutorials contain photos that I want to be saved to my Invision forum folder instead of just being linked. There use to be an option in the ACP to do that but I no longer see it. Can anyone anyone tell me where I can find setting or a way to do that? BTW, the Joomla site and the IPS forum are on the same server. Just in different folders.
  8. Thanks for the update!
  9. This is not unique. It is happening on other forums too. Has a fix been found?
  10. I would check permissions on all the folders, and the files in the root folder, especially the conf_global.php and .htaccess files. Wrong permissions will throw a 500 Internal Server error.
  11. April's update corrected the problem for me. Thank you!
  12. The only time the problem with photos turned sideways is reported is when they are uploaded from a cellphone. I'm use InMotion hosting and I'm on one of their newer servers. The AACA forum uses IPS software and is hosted on an IPS server. It has this problem with sideways photos too. I don't believe it is a server problem.
  13. Here is a screenshot from my admin panel. It appears exif is working properly.
  14. I'm having the same problem using android or iPhone on my site with photos getting turned sideways. No problem when uploading photos from my PC. Hope something gets figured out to correct this.
  15. Thanks for the quick reply!
