  1. Please remove to screen shot from the quoted post above as well. Thank you.
  2. This seems to have worked, thank you.
  3. Thank you. I have adjusted settings and will test. An aside if you don't mind... Why can I not PM you? Can you please remove the screen shots? Thank you.
  4. For some reason, the first post of new members is put into a mod queue requiring approval before it shows. Any additional posts are also put into the queue unless that first post is dealt with. It doesn't matter if it is approved, not approved, or whatever, but then subsequent posting are automatically shown. This condition did not exist prior to the 4.7.19 upgrade. I checked permissions and all are as they were before so I'm a little lost as to what is going on. Might it be some update to spam settings that is now creating this condition? I have looked but can find no way to alter this condition. Help would be greatly appreciated, we do not want to have to approve a new members first post. This condition exists across both websites. Thank you for your consideration.
  5. Then I wanna see... Beta 7, ate 9 so, it's Beta 10.
  6. This would require my leaving it enabled so you can diagnose, correct? If so, how long would that process entail? Just my 2 satoshi but I think not having the ability to set what determines a topic hot or not is not good. Again, prior to 4.7.19, it didn't react this way.
  7. That is because I had no other alternative other than to turn the function off.
  8. After I upgraded my communities, every single thread that got even one post went Hot. 🤷‍♂️
  9. Previous to 4.7.19, threads would become marked as Hot when they received a certain number of posts, and it wasn't just a single post to a thread, which is what it appears is the case now. From the sounds of your explanation, I either have to let every thread posted to become hot when it receives a single post, or just turn off the function altogether. That doesn't seem right to me. I'm not trying to be difficult Stuart, I just don't understand. Perhaps the feature went away with 4.7.18, but I do remember it working as I described, previously.
  10. As I stated, something changed with the 4.7.19 upgrade. Not every thread went hot with a single reply before the upgrade from 4.7.18. Again, if every thread that gets a single reply goes Hot, that kind of nullifies the distinction, doesn't it?
  11. Thank you Daniel. What about the ability to once again delineate the number of posts to make it Hot?
  12. Yes, @Adriano Faria pointed that out earlier in this thread, to which I responded by posting a screen shot of what shows for me. For ease I will repost the image again: Nowhere in there is the ability to set the number of posts that determine whether or not a topic is Hot/Trending. Timeframe, yes... Number of posts, no. Now if I do a search for "Trending" in the ACP, it returns, [Platform] Smart Community Features and [Platform] Enable Trending Content. The first is not enabled for my plan and the second says essentially the same thing.
  13. My memory tells me that there was a setting where one could delineate what number of posts were required to make a topic Hot. Of course I set that setting back when and can't be sure my memory is correct or not but... Before the upgrade to 4.7.19, a topic only went Hot after "x" number of replies (10 maybe?), within a certain time period. Now, every single thread that gets a reply becomes Hot (not sure that makes a topic hot, and which then, defeats the purpose of whether or not a topic is Hot). As I stated in my OP, now, it appears that the only way to set the Hot/Trending aspect is in a plan that is not within my plan anymore. So, while I may be wrong in my perception, it appears that the ability to determine how many posts make a topic Hot has been taken away from me.
  14. If you look closely at my screen shots for logged out, you can see that the topic listing shows @Daniel F last posted to "Gallery Albums shows "0" Images." It is timestamped, '4 hours ago.' Then my subsequent screen capture (also logged out) of the posts within said topic, shows your post from September 30 as the last posting to that thread. Then if we look to my logged in screen shots, you can see that my response to Daniel's post was there. You can also see the bottom of Daniels highlighted post. Two things... I understand my post not showing in the logged out screenshot as it was taken within the 15 minute cache time for visitors, however, Daniel's post was made 4 hours ago and it wasn't showing (logged out) when going to the thread. Additionally, my post (posted 1:17 hours earlier), to which Daniel responded, wasn't even shown in the thread view (logged out). So in all actuality, there was not a 4 hour discrepancy, it was more like over 5 hours. All of the above pointed out, I did come back after your reply (to which I am responding here) and looked again both logged in and logged out, and everything looked as it should. So... I dunno. It seems that there is a random ghost in the machine bug that only rears it head here and there(?). Just my 2 Satoshi...
