  1. As mentioned, you’ll need to copy and paste them 😉
  2. You’d want to contact your themes author for an updated version which is compatible.
  3. You would want to grab the existing rules at your website.com/robots.txt and then paste them into the custom area in the ACP. The custom area is designed to overwrite our rules so if you want to include them, you'll need to copy/paste them.
  4. You can certainly wipe your installation directory except for your conf_global.php and uploads folder (and any other attachment folders that you may have). However, completely re-installing is not really a fruitful endeavor with a PHP application as there aren't really any compilation files. Additionally, what you're encountering is a server issue rather than a software issue so you'll just run into the same thing.
  5. Before you even go down this road, I would check with a lawyer to even see that it is necessary for the regions you're "doing business" in. Most privacy policies remain complaint to these laws by simply stating what may be collected and how it may be used without being specific to each individual report/log you may have.
  6. ACP -> Members -> Members -> find member -> click "Account Actions" -> Download Personal Information
  7. Guidelines are more-so things like don't spam, don't reply in all capitals or red font, etc... Things that aren't necessarily legal terms but make a community harmonious or keeps discussion flowing. Registration Terms are more things that are legal based: we reserve the right to modify/delete user generated content at our discretion, you provide us an unlimited use of your content, you may not create subsequent accounts once banned, etc... (Please note I am not a lawyer or providing legal advice or stating the above are legal terms which you can claim, just providing examples. If you have any questions on those, please contact a lawyer in your area for advice.)
  8. I have moved this to the Feedback forum as this is currently intended to function in this manner. Worth mentioning that we're using a third-party editor again in V5, Tiptap. Our developers are amazing but developing an editor is a whole product in itself so best left to those specializing in it 🙂 .
  9. Correct, in your mentioned implementation, there is no need to have these badges/ranks set.
  10. Yes, content count would go up for creating a topic or replying to a topic.
  11. Think you’re over complicating the promotion rules. Why not just have 1 rule that when approved post count > 0 they get moved?
  12. There were some extremely temporary performance issues which now have been resolved.
  13. Not enough coffee this morning, thank you 🙂
  14. Apologies, we are referring to the row format, not compression. InnoDB has 2 commons row formats, compact and dynamic. You will want to ensure you're using dynamic.
  15. Would recommend disabling any third party applications/plugins, custom Javascript, custom themes, advertisements, etc... Anything but the core software. If it doesn't happen any more than this is an issue with one of those items and you will want to enable them one-by-one. What you are describing though has to include some form of customized Javascript to do a refresh like this.

You may wish to detail further. Our core product has the mentions, as you just performed. If there was something above and beyond that the plugin did, you would need to describe so other clients may be able to help you out.

Time machine at this point 😄 . Kidding, kidding... We haven't released those officially just yet as version 5 is still in Alpha. I wouldn't say they will be wildly different than version 4. Likely PHP 8.1 minimum requirement depending on release timing.
  18. 644 is typical for non-writable files but you will also want to check the ownership of the file. If you downloaded via the system and uploaded via FTP, the ownership could be different. Both the permissions and ownership requirements of your server should be asked to your hosting provider.
  19. This is not currently something which is a setting within the software. Accomplishing this would require a customization to do so. As well, you can request this in our Feedback forum to be further evaluated by our team.

You would want to contact your hosting provider and ask them to disable mod_security or their WAF temporarily to see if that is impacting you. Essentially, a 403 is a permission error on your server so something on your server is blocking you. This is not a software issue so your hosting provider or server administrator will need to assist.
  21. Sounds like that may be the root of the issue. Please let us know if it doesn't solve it.
  22. SoundCloud is embeddable. You could also create a custom button if you want to use another source which is not currently embeddable.
  23. If the browser has not retained the notification prompt, it will appear again. I have not been asked this in my test community since I enabled it some time back. Has anything changed on your user account or browser? That may require a reauthorization. Additionally, things like URL changes would as well.
  24. The error provided does not look to be related. The error provided deals with OAuth, which does not require email validation. If you're having an issue with email validation and you're using SendGrid or another email service which tracks link clicks, please disable this for further testing.
