  1. Glad to hear that the surgery went well! Also, glad to hear that we were able to resolve things for you and the update has gotten things faster for you 🙂 . Hope we don't need to see you around the support-side of things (for errors at least 🙂 ) but certainly appreciate any patience/openness towards new support processes in the future.
  2. If cron is setup correctly, you will have an error being reported in the cron log. We need that error here and then if it is our error we can resolve.
  3. I'm afraid, server administration support is outside our scope of support. If you are unsure how to perform this, you should hire a server administrator or switch to our Cloud where this will not be an issue for you.
  4. You would need to check why that is with your hosting provider or server administrator. There should be errors which they can provide.
  5. Glad to hear you got to the root of the issue.
  6. Actually, looking back over this, we do not support WeChat as a payment through Stripe. This would be something you have customized or allowed through another means.
  7. Have you checked your Stripe and Invision Community/Server logs to see if there are any errors or blocks going on preventing the signal back from Stripe/WeChat?
  8. If you are actually charging them by way of if they for some reason have a card on file, I think there is an ethical issue for sure. If they don't have a card on file and no payment is taken without their consent, they would voluntarily opt into payment that way. The ethical issue would be stepped aside so long as you give them ample warning of what is going on and options to opt out. For legal issues, I would check local laws with a lawyer.
  9. You're more than welcome to post it up in our Feedback forum. However, realistically, this may be some form of customization migration offering than a built-in feature. Not often would you need move outside of that. I would just manually apply the subscription to users you want to give it for free or create a coupon code and email them it.
  10. You would want to utilize the Advanced Member Search tool in ACP -> Members -> Members -> in the search bar, click the "cogwheel" icon to open up the advanced search. You can then search by group and other details, if required. Once you perform your search and it renders users, there will be a blue bar which you can then use to move users to the group you want them to be in. Of course, before doing so, please ensure that you take a full backup of your environment in case any mistakes are made.
  11. In addition to what Randy mentioned, there may be a need to verify the details of your conf_global.php on the new server.
  12. You will want to contact individual providers as it may change. This is not something we will provide you.
  13. I have marked this to a developer to see if they have any suggestions. However, it is not something I have immediate suggestions for due to this is not something we are able to actively reproduce. Last thing would be to ensure they have everything updated on their phone in case something is causing issues and accepting all cookies on your community.
  14. As mentioned, these are coming from Searching. The queries are actually pretty simple COUNT queries. On a proper system, it should run quickly and efficiently in that manner. However, if you are doing heavy searches, there is nothing we can do to make MySQL Full Text Search more efficient. This is an internal functionality of MySQL. Not quite sure I understand your concern there as respectively, if your MySQL server is down for these items, your community would be down as well 🙂 .

  17. You indeed do have a customized language pack and are out of date with releases which includes a security patch. I would recommend removing any customizations to this and upgrade to the latest release.
  18. As much as we would love to be everything for everyone and accomplishing features everyone wants, that's just not possible with limited resources of our team. With that, we tend to focus more on features everyone needs or will continue to project our software/industry further. However, it does not mean that our product team may take your idea and change it up.
  19. Are you using a customized or third party language pack? If so, please switch to an unmodified language pack.
  20. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.
  21. Unfortunately, once the delete process is initiated, the only way to recover would be from a full backup. As the system will process the deletion immediately. Even if it's available via existing attachments, the system will remove it in the processed background task.
  22. I don't think an image proxy will make its way back into the software and reasons why it was originally developed do not pertain to the topic here. Just due to concerns around the functionality. However, you're more than welcome to provide any suggestion in our Feedback forum.

Instructions below: We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section. We look forward to further assisting you.
  24. Depends how they update them. If they provide all files of the software application and those "dates" on the file are updated by their file generator then it will show updated when you upload that to your server. Our automatic updater only downloads files which have changed thus your file system won't see that the files weren't touched or modified.
