Yes. Kind of a button named "shuffle" or "surprise me!" That button would randomly play all songs in the system. Would be great to allow people listening songs from without them having to manually select each song after another.

As people are using musicbox at my site (which is a musicians community), i found they rarely upload a full playlist. They are uploading their songs, usually just one or two per user. This creates a high amount of song "dispersion" which makes listening overcomplicated: constantly having to go and select another song... Is is possible to add a functionality (two buttons on the player) to play songs randomly (from all songs in the system) or in sequence, to avoid keep selecting other songs to play? It would be great for creative communities where users usually don't upload full playlists.

This new version was definitely a step forward. Well done! People of my community have started using it. I have some suggestions for further improvement: - Side Blocks: although the Top Songs/Playlists/Artists is good, i feel that a nice set of blocks such as "latest" Songs/Playlists/Artists would draw further user attention, specially if used on the first page of the community and improve user involvement with the new songs/albuns/artists. The "Top" widgets are nice but they tend to "stabilize" with time. I know that making those widgets would not take a considerable effort and wouldn't have a considerable performance penalty. - Social Share: the social buttons should be the same as the ones in the community. It doesn't make sense to make use of another service. For example, in my community i have not linkedin share setup, but in the MusicBox the button is there. Besides that the styling and presentation is not the same. This causes an inconsistent user experience. Please reuse the IPS social share template and functionality. - Social Share Button on Play Bar: a social share button in the playing bar would be welcome to allow quick share of playing music Other than this, the app is good and is working reliably!

I've tried to add a song to a playlist by editing a playlist. I've inserted the song ID and i got: The CSRF protection key did not match. This may indicate a plugin or theme is out of date. Please contact technical support for more information.

No, let me explain it better. Let's imagine you have a playlist with 3 songs that had never been played. At the beginning the counters are: Playlist: 0 Song 1: 0 Song 2: 0 Song 3: 0 Then you play the song 2. At the end of it you get: Playlist: 0 Song 1: 0 Song 2: 1 Song 3: 0 Then you play the whole playlist. At the end of it you get: Playlist: 1 Song 1: 1 Song 2: 2 Song 3: 1

Thank you. But the songs should be counted too, as they are played (even if inside a playlist). I mean, if playlist X has three songs, when after playing the whole playlist, its songs should also increase the counter by 1 (as in fact they were played too). Authors complain that their songs show fewer number of plays incorrectly, because the majority of users put their playlists playing, not their songs individually.

Two more bugs: 1) It seems there is a problem with one of the notifications language strings. The notification when someone likes a song i "nickname liked a __indefart_musicbox_song_comment: title_of_song". I believe that it should be __indefart_musicbox_song as there is a __indefart_musicbox_song language string. The _comment at the end does not exist... 2) The song play count is not correct. If a song is played when clicking it, it counts, but if it's played through a playlist, it doesn't increase the counter on the song (only increases the playlist play count)

It would be great. I have a musician community where i would let musicians to create their "artist profile", upload their sons and organize them in playlists. It would be awesome! Thank you

Sorry for asking too much questions, i am now discovering the app. Is there any way to allow users to create artists instead of the admins creating them on ACP?

Updated to the last version. Site wide player has a "problem"... when you open a link within the community in window, the player gets "doubled" and the music streams on two tabs. Is there any way to sort that out?

The app is excellent. I've installed it but still customizing it (not gone live yet). Two questions, though: Is it possible to keep the playing bar site wide (IPS), instead only inside the musicbox app if user wants so? Is it possible to allow higher buffering? Sometimes when navigating through the site it "cuts" the sound..

Btw: i think the thumb display on topic listing could be improved with the use of the following css "kinda" (needs to be tailored, of course): img { object-fit: cover; width: 100%; height: 50px; } To avoid image proportion distortion.

Unfortunately they don't work together.

I think it would be great (and quite possible too as it would be simple to do) is to add the option to have the image as topic cover. Anyway, really great plugin!

I've just bought it, and just installed it. I am rebuilding the thumbs on the topics. My board has around 1 million posts and i see no progress in the progressbar: is it stuck or will it take long? I am afraid it may just timeout?

Hi i am thingking to buy this, however i have two doubts about it: 1) it is possible to access the thumbnails in custom blocks? Like "$topic->topic_image" and "$topic->topic_image_thumb"? 2) Would it be possible to have an "automated" setting, which is, if user doesn't set a thumb, it will automatically get the first image / youtube thumb of the post?
