  1. oh the notifications, they can disable those in their user cp. its not sending them a PM, just a notification that a new dupe has been logged.
  2. in the settings for automatic action, just select "Disabled", it will log the dupe but not take any automatic action.
  3. sorry guys, i haven't had much time lately. personal life things. My twin sister had an emergency surgery and was staying with her to help her out till her husband got home. I just got back to my home today (back to civilization, my sister lives in the buttcrack of the midwest, in a town that has more cows than people and i'm pretty sure the town's welcoming sign's population count was approaching negative). I should take pictures of where she lives, its insane how isolated you are, but her street looks like a suburban street, with lights, road signs, crosswalks, sidewalks, but her house is the only one there, the rest is all farmland. its pretty wild. anyway, her internet is from like 1998 and the fastest i was able to connect to at any time was about 1mbps, it took 12 minutes to load up a 4 minute 480p youtube video. so i'm back at my house, with my 1 gigabyte connection. give me a few days and everything should be back on schedule with the 4.4 updates. @SJ77 if you are getting PM's, it means its detecting you using an alt account. if you want admins/moderators to be excluded, in the apps settings, just select which groups to be excluded. if you want individual members to be excluded, you can go to their member's form in the ACP and go to the duplicate members tab and tell it to exclude them. if you've already done those things, let me know, i'll check to see what the problem is.
  4. yes, my paid apps will have 4.4 compatible versions rolled out for them, including keywords.
  5. the current version? i am not entirely sure if the current would, one of the older versions will as i'm pretty sure i came out with it when 4.0 first came out, but those versions aren't supported any longer.
  6. I released it free as an experiment into "donationware", to see if it was a viable option for the market.
  7. I've been rethinking the EOL of the self hosted, i will prolly end up keeping it around, but it will prolly be in a more "raw" state than it is now (for v3), as i wont be selling any additional access to the self hosted (and the number of self hosted is considerable small, compared to what it was before the service). the chat service version and self hosted version are identical in functionality and look. the differences are all backend, the chat service connects to chat service vs your own node.js. your users would more than likely not notice any differences, unless they like watching their network traffic like a hawk. if i have time, i will consider keeping this one, as i've had a lot of fun making it. not sure how well received it would be turning it into a paid app from a free one (as that has usually been a bit disastrous for dev's who have)
  8. I wont be upgrading any of my free resources (with the exception of dev toolbox) to 4.4, as i don't have the time to maintain them any longer, but all my paid applications will be getting a 4.4 maintenance fix, i will release them over the next week.
  9. Moderators can too, there is a section in the MODCP that they can access to view the list (it looks a bit different from the ACP one, but contains all the same information and abilities)
  10. i am not admitting nor denying, there might be something with rockets in the works.
  11. i actually meant you shouldn't drink the bong water, cause it is making you talk crazy 🙂
  12. @Joel R is obvious from an alternative universe where i am working on another possible chat app, but if i was, babble isn't going any where.
  13. Since it is working on a few of my private sites, I'm gonna need a bit of info from you to see what the problem is and why it is not working. are you on IPS 4.3 or did you upgrade to the beta? are there any error logs in System->support->system logs? or anything in your php error logs from your sever? feel free to PM me this information, so i can take a look at it.
  14. thanks, i've added them to my tracker, they will be fixed in the next version.
  15. i would have to double check, but i'm pretty sure they will activate on mobile (they just turn themselves into clicks instead of hover, as it users the hovercard feature in IPS 4). send me a PM, i can set you up a demo on my site this weekend to have you test it out. give you a little private area over there to play around with it. yes, babble supports clubs. the club rooms will only be accessible from inside the club, but the regular rooms will be accessible from there as well.
  16. how'd that get in there...i'll get it fixed and push a new version
  17. I've replied over on my site to your issue. when you first go to the page, it will list all of them, in order of when they were added (i'm almost certain of that, but it might be alphabetical, been awhile since i looked at the code). when you click on any of the entities in the filter bar (letters/numbers/symbols will show in this, so if it is showing, it exists, if it doesn't show, it doesn't exists). you can sort by last update/title/start date(creation date) and most views. the system unfortunately doesn't store keywords info like this. it doesn't know where a keyword is used. yes keywords can be set to be sensitive or insensitive. so it would be able to tell the difference between ON and on and On. sounds like you are looking for a bit different system, with the ability to track where the keyword is used, maybe like an advanced tags or hashtag system of some kind.
  18. it wont be this week, but next weekend i def can see about adding an option of "merge group into mobile" and it will merge them on the group that is set to replace the primary menu.
  19. in CJ menu it use to create a hamburger menu for non-primary menus, and when clicked they would open in a similar fashion, but a lot of complaints about how it was "confusing", for MGM, there is an option in group settings, to hide on mobile. if you disable it, it will show in tablet/phone view, but it will appear regularly.
  20. on my site there are 2 main packages, one starting at $75 (its has a term of 6 months, and the subscription fee is $30 every 6 months) and then there is the one package which is $95 and then $50 once a year for the subscription. here on IPS it is $75 i believe with a $35 every six month subscription fee. I prefer purchases to be on my site, as the license key and renewals are all handled automatically (no delays), but if bought from here, there can be delays (as i am not always available) as it needs to be done manually.
  21. it's fully integrated into your site, there are no redirects to any of my servers. my servers are only there to facilitate the transfer of messages. you can see it in action here: https://codingjungle.com/babble/
  22. yes, the chat service version was specifically created so users could use it on the communities in the cloud.
  23. actually guys, they use a very similar method to what i do to track duplicate members. here is my laptop both logged into my localhost, one on the left is chrome ,the one on the right is firefox. the "device key" is a random string they generate to identify the "device" (which should really be changed to browser lol)
  24. i tested everything, it was working, so i don't see why it wouldn't be working now.
  25. they send out under donotreply@codingjungle.com i have checked, and i do show them being sent out for over the last year to other clients (not just for the chat service), they are probably getting filtered out by spam services, so might be a good idea to add donotreply@codingjungle.com to the spam white list.
