We have some cool ideas for the AS that we think should solve most of your concerns, including those mentioned here. On the fly filtering may be one thing. We're not going to do pagination (as in navigate to page 4) as it just doesn't fit technically into the backend of the content discovery module.... but, we are working on navigation and you will be able to click a topic in the stream, hit back and pick up where you left off. I get the sense that's what most want with "pagination" so we'll start there. 
That's not months out by any means and should be relatively soon. Virtually any example given regarding "it doesn't do what VNC did" has been successfully refuted. It is every bit as powerful as VNC and then some - I think there's just general confusion on how to use it to its full potential and we need to make a few improvements to make it more intuitive.

Added option to check posts with the Akismet service and auto-moderate if matched I've got visible spam down to 0 this week on my forum. Down from about a maximum of 90 posts a day before I started on the plugin  
 

For the next update in the Advertisements Section, Would it be possible to add the forums that you would like the ads to be shown in? Some people might get sponsors for specific subforms...should be a simple add on. Default can be all forum, and then you can select which forums, like in the announcements dropdown.

This application will allow your community to use an invitation system for new registrations. You can make it mandatory (or not, depending on your configuration). In this case, an invitantion code will be required in order to register a new account in your community.
Public side features:
Users can send invitation in 2 places: + Create menu and Invitations on Account Settings. New icon on board top (beside Notifications and Messenger) to display the converted invitees and how many invites the user has. This icon also shows the remaining invitations for the member (just like how many users are online on Chat). 2 widgets: Top Inviters (per week, month, year and general) and Latest Converted Invitees, which are invitations converted to membership. Shows "Invited by" on user profile and on profile card (hover on user link). Settings:
Enable Invite System Require an Invitation to Register an Account Restore deleted or expired invitation Display the popup Invitations link on board top? Display total of remaining invitations Invitation Expires after X days Earn one Invitation at every X new content posted ACP Features:
Invitations Management: a place where you can see the status of each invitation. The status are: PENDING, CONVERTED and EXPIRED. You can invite people, delete or resend invitations. You can also create batch invitations, to be used on a campaign or to be posted elsewhere. It won't send any emails. Can you provide a list of all the error codes and what they mean. I have a customer give me a code, but I don't show it in the logs and cannot find out what it means. I have a general idea, but would be nice to know for sure.
