I thought the system should work like this: the guest cannot have messages, so under the setting "Users can see topics posted by other users? = NO" he simply will not see any topics in the forum. I don't understand why this completely disables category/forum display.

I'm ready not to show the counters, but why I can't show the category and name of the forum??

I try to create forum with permissions: 1. One category with one forum 2. Logged user can create topics 3. Logged user can see only own topics 4. Guest must see category & forum header (with counters/last post) 1,2,3 - it works. 4 - category don't shows for guests. When option "Users can see topics posted by other users?" unchecked, i can't change forum permission for guests, checkbox inactive. Why is such mode impossible? Or did I miss something?

Also faced with this problem (chrome). It was possible to login in incognito mode. Everything began to work normally after removing site cookies and cleaning the browser cache.

Yeah, special after people turned off (in template) annoying "new version" notification on the forum. No one could have assumed anything else would appear there. If someone sees a message about the patch, take a screenshot, at least see what it looks like.

Your apology will not return the lost money and time. Tell me better what will change in customer notification policy (consider, i may not open ACP for weeks).

I disabled this feature long before the problem occurred, but I don't know why i'd get information about such problems from other people, not from the software developer. So my main claim is not that I suffered any losses, but that no one informed me of the problem.

Blocked all "aggregateRating" using if (0). -
If copy JS block with "aggregateRating" from page and put to google https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/ you can see errors like DiscussionForumPosting - Invalid object type for field "itemReviewed" Missing Nаme for Author and other errors.

Only for example Topic Hide Can hide topics/questions? Can unhide topics/questions? Can view hidden topics/questions? Post Hide Can hide posts/answers? Can unhide posts/answers? Can view hidden posts/answers? And so on..

Thanks! FR ( whenever possible ) 1. Divide settings into two tabs (main permissions and other). Move seldom used settings like pin, feature, message, etc to the second tab, in most cases these settings not used. 2. Group settings like 3. Permissions template or "permissions copy from..."? All my TM have equal permissions, very tiresomely click-click-click for new TM.

It's for "checkbox", not for "radio".

Maybe will better use checkboxes? Remove 'All posts' (it doesn't make sense for "first post"), only 2 options more readably.

Yep, but Sometimes TM not the author of a topic and can't edit first post. Own post and someone else's posts - big difference. Group: 1. can/can't edit own post include first if TS. 2. can/can't edit someone else's posts.

I'm too :) But there are cases when a topic moderator should not edit all own topics, only moderated. Add it, please! Topic mod can/can't edit own messages in moderated topic (switchable).

New version blocks a possibility of editing the first message even at the superadmin group 😞 What control in the new version is responsible for it? It can be switched on|off?

Add it, please! Topic mod has to have the right to edit own messages in a topic.

1. And "just delete" application .js files from system js folder, coz app js folder only for ACP scripts? Sugg: add variable $this->settings['js_app_url'] for public mode, now it work in ACP only. 2. (groups) $tabUsed = 2, clean ipb install. Bug??? ;)
