Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted February 7Feb 7 It seems I can no longer simply type :) and have it convert to a smile. This behavior seems to be universal everywhere, FB, Word, text apps, email...Also, if I click on the smiley list, it takes a lot longer than before to load. Will the :) functionality be added back? Thanks

February 7Feb 7 Community Expert It's a different issue. Typing :) used to auto-convert it to 🙂 in v4, but it doesn't happen anymore with v5.

February 10Feb 10 Community Expert Management It's something that came up in alpha testing, and I think at some point we might re-add them, but it's not a simple task and on our backlog.
