Combat_Pilot_Jason Posted Saturday at 12:37 AM Posted Saturday at 12:37 AM Hello Invision, I cannot apply the latest update. It keeps failing and referencing some kind of issue, but I see no clear issue. I'm stuck. Please help. I don't have any fancy apps or anything attached to my community. Maybe I took too long to apply the update? Thanks in advance. Jason
teraßyte Posted Saturday at 12:44 AM Posted Saturday at 12:44 AM What is the error exactly? Without more details, it's hard to tell what the actual problem is.
Combat_Pilot_Jason Posted Saturday at 12:46 AM Author Posted Saturday at 12:46 AM It says this... The it goes to do it and then I get this... Jason I also see this. I don't know what this means. Jason
teraßyte Posted Saturday at 01:01 AM Posted Saturday at 01:01 AM (edited) It looks like it can't properly extract the files for the upgrade. In this case, your best option is to perform a manual upgrade instead of using the automatic one from the ACP: https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/advanced-options/server-management/install-and-upgrade-r259/#manualupgrade Edited Saturday at 01:01 AM by teraßyte
Combat_Pilot_Jason Posted Saturday at 01:04 AM Author Posted Saturday at 01:04 AM (edited) Ummm...I have a cloud account. Does this manual process apply to that too? Will it wipe all my settings and stuff? I can't afford to start over. I'm not very technical and bad at this kind of stuff. Jason Edited Saturday at 01:07 AM by Combat_Pilot_Jason
Combat_Pilot_Jason Posted Saturday at 01:19 AM Author Posted Saturday at 01:19 AM I sent a message to support. I don't think you solution applies to me. Jason
teraßyte Posted Saturday at 02:35 AM Posted Saturday at 02:35 AM Oh, okay. If you're on the Cloud the manual option is not applicable. You'll have to wait for a reply from IPS. 😅
