Posted November 8, 2024Nov 8 Management It's Friday. It's the afternoon in the UK, so that can only mean... another beta release! Beta 4 is working its way through the cloud right now and should be available via your AdminCP soon. As always, the full list of changes is available via the release notes page. Those that upgraded from v4 and found white space where images in posts should have been will find this release should fix those "missing" images. Let me know how it goes!

November 8, 2024Nov 8 After upgrading, the only issue I’m experiencing is with caching. When I visit the site as a guest and then log in, I need to manually refresh each page to clear the cache. This issue occurs across multiple browsers, including Safari, Chrome, and Brave.

You will want to check if your server is passing any cache headers for browser caching. Reports from others have not come in just yet regarding this so this is worth double checking.

I tried again, disabled the cache in Cloudflare, and restored the original ".htaccess" code, but I received the same results.
November 8, 2024Nov 8 Tried to upgrade my dev site from a backup of my live site and was able to obliterate my main site because being a dumbass. Forgot about the database credentials. Well, backups for the win, guys. All back to normal. The upgrade then went smoothly. But I had more things to tweak to get the dev site up and running with Beta 4 than with Beta 2 (didn't do the upgrade process of the live site with Beta 3). Edited November 8, 2024Nov 8 by Hatsu

November 9, 2024Nov 9 I have just upgraded to Beta 4! 🥳 And I noticed the blank images issue has been fixed! Double 🥳🥳! https://www.japanesespitz.au/ Still a work in progress, and very vanilla (just how I like it). I will be playing around with colours in the next week or so.
