Recurring Coupon for Subscription

My users must purchase a subscription plan to access my forum. I want to create coupon codes to allow some users a discount. I see I can create coupons with no restrictions that can then be used on Subscriptions. This method only gives a discount on the first payment—is there a way to have the coupon code apply to every recurring payments?

Coupons will not automatically apply for subsequent renewals. You can allow coupons to be used on renewals, but the code would need to be applied on each renewal invoice.

Any chance this will be upgraded in the future? This seems like a big miss—I doubt users would remember to go in and apply a coupon code every month and would likely cancel.

Have you thought about simply duplicating the product with a reduced price? Im asking as if its a permanent reduction for some, that may be your simplest way to go

We can look into that possibility—but we wouldn't want it to show on the subscription plan page for others to purchase. Also, we would want various reductions as we will run promotional sales and would want to limit the number of purchasers.

No problem. Was just trying to give you options based on what is currently available there. Please feel free to post this up within our feedback area, if you wish to see something like this appear in the future.
