I changed hosting and site is now in infinite loop

Hello,

I movd my forum to a new server and updated config etc however site or admin panel doesnt load. They are in infinete redirects

I downloaded latest version, upladed via ftp and run upgrade successfully, but even after upgrade when I hit home page or admin panle urs its in infinete redirects and doesnt open pages.

 

What would you suggest?

Probably a wrong rule inside an .htaccess file, or maybe your new hosting has some kind of redirect setup that is interfering with something else in Invision Community. 🤔

What he said above. The other possibility is an issue with SSL. If your site previously used SSL and it’s not setup on the new host, it could cause issues.

I couldnt find anything interesting in htaccess. renamed htaccess but its still same 😞

I use self signed ssl on my vps. Also use cloudflare (in dev mode). It seems ssl is doing fine since I have no problem in upgrade process.

Check your conf_global to ensure if you are using https on the server, you are also using https in there. Failing that, you will need to contact your hosting provider to assist you with resolving this
