David N. Posted April 23 Posted April 23 (edited) When a poll allows for multiple answers, the percentage are tallied as a percent of answers, when they should be tallied a a percent of voters? For example below, 53 voters out of 69 have selected the 2nd answer, that should be 76.81% and not 22.94%? Edited April 23 by David N.
Jim M Posted April 23 Posted April 23 While I get what you're saying here, it is not intended to how we built the system. It is intended to only count answers, rather than voters. However, it still does provide you the voters next to the answers if you want to do your own calculations. If you would like to see this changed, you're more than welcome to submitting a topic in our Feedback forum for further information. David N. 1
David N. Posted April 23 Author Posted April 23 Got it, thanks Jim. I've posted in the Feedback forum, there:
Songstuff Posted November 17 Posted November 17 It would be useful if the person setting the poll could choose whether the percentages are relative to number of voters or relative to expressed preferences. I understand the case for counting answers but it makes little sense to hard code it one way or the other.
