Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
Square Wheels Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 Hi, On one of my site, we want it to be 100% private. I visited the site on my phone, not logged in, and there is a link for Unread at the bottom. When I click that, it goes to All Activity and shows recent member activity. The same happens on my desktop, using the All Activity link that still displays. How do I make the site 100% private? Thanks
Adriano Faria Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 Edit Guests group and disable access for them.

I have looked around and tried to disable anything related to guests. Permissions seem to be in many locations. The one that seems to be lingering is https://www.MySite.com/discover/.
Adriano Faria Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 ACP -> Members -> Groups -> Guests -> Can access site? -> No. That won’t allow access to all areas of your board.
Solution Randy Calvert Posted January 30, 2024 Solution Posted January 30, 2024 You can also use ACP - System - Applications Expand the system application and disable guest access to content discovery.

This worked, but maybe too well. 🙂 You solved the problem I presented, but I represented it incorrectly. I wanted the "home" page to display. 😞 Thanks 4 minutes ago, Randy Calvert said: You can also use ACP - System - Applications Expand the system application and disable guest access to content discovery. I never would have found this. Thanks
