David N. Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 I am trying to adjust the minimum content count to post as a global value for the entire site. When searching the ACP I can only find per-forum setting. Is there a global setting?
Randy Calvert Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 (edited) I don’t believe there is a global setting for it. If you set it globally to some value (say 10), users below it would never have a way to post anything to ever meet that requirement. Edited November 16, 2023 by Randy Calvert David N. 1
David N. Posted November 16, 2023 Author Posted November 16, 2023 Oh I was looking for the wrong term. I'm looking for a minimum number of characters to be able to validate a post. Some user posts just a video with no words whatsoever, and I'm trying to avoid that, I want to have a minimum number of character for someone to post. What's the terms for that setting?
Solution Randy Calvert Posted November 16, 2023 Solution Posted November 16, 2023 I don’t believe there is any sort of global setting for that. Others can keep me honest though. David N. 1
Nathan Explosion Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 There isn't. You could take a look at this but I wouldn't consider it 'Global' Any questions on it, ask over on the site. David N. 1
David N. Posted November 16, 2023 Author Posted November 16, 2023 Ok, thank you for both your answers.
