I need to try a fresh install, to see if an app works in my environment without any other plugins or applications installed. However, I have an active dev site which is in use by another dev. Would it be possible to briefly use a test.mydomain instead of the dev.mydomain and then switch back once I have completed my tests.

We allow only one test and one live instance within the license structure, unfortunately

You could use a local install, do an internet search on WampServer.

@Marc Stridgen: Could I please request that IPS update my sites live url to include HTTPS instead of http://. 🙂

I actually thought of this after and the results are the same as my live and dev site. Which is odd. I'll just report back to the dev.

It shoudlnt actually make any difference in terms of licensing, to be honest. However I have gone ahead and done that for you anyway.
