Is there any way to remove tags from existing topics?

Hello,

As per title, I stopped using tags, any way to clear them out from existing topics?

I see there might be no automatic option for that. Is truncating core_tags , core_tags_cache, core_tags_perms tables can do the job without additional issues?

No, the tags are also stored in the core_tags_cache, core_tags_perms and core_search_index_tags table

Does it mean that truncating all the mentioned by you tables will do the job without further issues or the data from the tables is referenced from other tables too?
