angle4cor Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 Hello, I've recently tried to send a bulkmail to a certain group of users and got this error: 4C143/1 Server did not accept message for delivery but provided no error message. Around 15% of the group members got their emails and then the error occured. What may be the problem?
angle4cor Posted January 29, 2023 Author Posted January 29, 2023 (edited) I've tried with various email settings. When trying to send a test email, even when everything is turned off, I am getting this: IPS\Email\Outgoing\Exception: filesize(): stat failed for (...) public_html/datastore/b03f91a0bd1d532821fb872e70e15957_email_html.fb3babd425.php (0) Not sure if its changing anything, but I am trying to send over 12k emails. angle4cor Posted January 29, 2023 Author Posted January 29, 2023 Users cant verify freshly registered accounts too. It shows the same error: 4C143/1 filesize(): stat failed for (...) public_html/datastore/updatecount_themes.fb3babd425.php It seems like the board is unable to send any emails at all now.
Richard Arch Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 Have you checked with your email provider? They could have disabled emails from your domain after so many being sent, you have triggered one of their limits. Some of those errors mention the datastore, it might be worth flushing the cache from ACP and try a test email again.
angle4cor Posted January 29, 2023 Author Posted January 29, 2023 (edited) Thanks for your response. I cleared the cache a few times and tried to send emails from another email adresses and I am still geting the same errors. Edited January 29, 2023 by angle4cor
Marc Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Check tmp on your server isnt full. Sending so many, I suspect that may be the issue
angle4cor Posted January 30, 2023 Author Posted January 30, 2023 Do you mean some tmp folder on ftp or something else?
angle4cor Posted January 30, 2023 Author Posted January 30, 2023 Okay, weirdly enough, everything seems to work now... How can I send the unsent 10K emails safely now and do such things without problems in the future?
Marc Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 tmp is a temp directory used on your hosting for temporariy storage of information while its doing something with it. When this ends up full, it can cause issues. If you are unsure on where that is and how to increase its storage, you would need to contact your hosting company.
angle4cor Posted January 31, 2023 Author Posted January 31, 2023 (edited) I would like to send the rest of the unsent emails - 12k total, 2k had been sent, 10k unsend.. I have 249 pages of error email logs from the unsucceful previous Bulkmail attempt. How can I send all of these errored mails without starting a new bulkmail again? I dont want to mail the 2K users who recieved theirs already. Edited January 31, 2023 by angle4cor
Jim M Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 Sorry, there is no resend for all. You can resend each manually but you cannot resend all.
angle4cor Posted February 1, 2023 Author Posted February 1, 2023 Its impossible to send 10k emails manually. There should be a way to handle such situations in the system.
Marc Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Before we go on to this, did you find the actual issue there? I ask, as it doesnt sound like the cause was found. If not, its very very likely, even if we could find a way for you to do this, it will fail
