Madhouseau
Hello, I have successfully completed a conversion of our current Xenforo 2 database into a new IPB install in mid August. We are now ready to fully migrate over to using IPB but we don't want to re-setup add-ons and changes on our IPB install but also getting all the latest database from the xF install. Can I re-run the conversion tool to update the information? Thanks, Madhouse
Marc
Unfortunately not, no. If you re-run it, you will get duplicated information as it will also import everything you have already imported Hostingunlock

Marc
Only the latest version of the platform is available at any point in time

Randy Calvert
While technically possible, it’s not recommended/supported. For example, if you delete members/member groups, you’ll end up with different IDs for each as the software would be aware the IDs existed previously. You would still have to go back and fix permissions, etc. There are many different issues that can occur so the best/safest thing to do is do it on a fresh install only. Marc
It will also likely tell you that you have already converted that database
