Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Yesterday at 02:04 PM
TeddyT Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 I am having trouble downloading the New Version of Invision Community. I have been informed that i should have download permissions but that doesn't seem to be the case.
expeditedshipper Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 @TeddyT should have all the appropriate permissions to download the package. Please see screenshot.
Jim M Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 Unfortunately, as mentioned in the notice, only the account owner can download files. The screenshot you've shown there would only give them permission to access support requests and pay invoices. There is no permission to download files as we only allow the account owner to do so.
expeditedshipper Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 How do I transfer account ownership to @TeddyT?
Jim M Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 Sorry, we do not allow the transfer of self-hosted licenses. Could you please clarify your intentions? You would not want to transfer ownership if the individual is merely downloading files initially as the account owner owns the license. Once an installation is setup, you can use the automatic upgrader to handle upgrades.
expeditedshipper Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 It was transferred to me. How do I transfer it to @TeddyT? The auto upgrader doesn't work on our site. We tried this before and it had a bunch of issues.
Jim M Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 I have submitted a ticket to further discuss this with you. Please check your email for further communication.
Marc Posted September 15, 2022 Posted September 15, 2022 I see you have now responded to that message. Someone will be in contact as soon as possible.
