Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Lordest Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 I created a page and the page is named as "support", it looks as xxxxx.com/index.php?/support. I want it to look as xxxxx.com/support, how can I do this?
Solution Jim M Posted July 26, 2022 Solution Posted July 26, 2022 Please go to ACP -> System -> Search Engine Optimization -> follow the instructions under Rewritten URLs to apply the .htaccess to your server. (NOTE: our software only provides the rewrites for Apache. If you are running another web server, please contact your hosting provider or server administrator for assistance) Lordest and SeNioR- 2

First of all, thanks for the help message. My server is apache, web services is running on cyberpanel. When I make this setting, the following warning comes after Rewrite URL's: "The rewriting does not seem to be working. This may be because you have not configured your server correctly, but may be a false error if your community is not generally accessible. Check friendly URLs are working, and if they are not, ensure you have configured your server correctly or contact your hosting provider or server administrator for assistance."
Lordest Posted August 2, 2022 Author Posted August 2, 2022 It was an htaccess problem due to Cyberpanel. I fixed it.
