Invision Community 5: A video walkthrough creating a custom theme and homepage By Matt Thursday at 04:02 PM
evcom Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 (edited) Testing the new fluid view per forum feature, but the filters to refine which forum content to display is not shown in the sidebar. Cache cleared. Logged out/in. Still does not display. Fluid listing works though as designed. What else could I do the get the filters displayed? Version: 4.7 Beta 8 Thanks for any pointer! Jim M Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 Are there multiple child forums in this view? If so, could you please provide a link to it?
evcom Posted June 17, 2022 Author Posted June 17, 2022 Hi, yes there are two child forums in this example. Here the view of the main forum with activated combined fluid view:https://www.elektroauto.community/forums/forum/174-ladeanbieter-ladestationen-und-wallboxen/ Child Forums here (direct links):https://www.elektroauto.community/forums/forum/7-private-ladeinfrastruktur/ https://www.elektroauto.community/forums/forum/199-öffentliche-ladeinfrastruktur/ Above are links to the live version running v4.6.12.1
Jim M Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 You will want to enable fluid mode on this forum: https://www.elektroauto.community/forums/forum/249-ladeinfrastruktur/ As it is a category, it likely is disrupting this forum: https://www.elektroauto.community/forums/forum/174-ladeanbieter-ladestationen-und-wallboxen/
Solution evcom Posted June 18, 2022 Author Solution Posted June 18, 2022 (edited) Thanks @Jim M for your support. I just tested this by removing the potential conflicting category. The filters still do not show. I also tested in on another section where I have just two simple subforums (BMW and Mini). But the filters do not show. Interestingly, if I use fluid view on a global scale, the filters do show, as designed. If actived per forum, it merges the topics, but now filter is displayed. Edit: Just tested it by disabling third party apps. And it worked! So I will check which one it is...and found it: The app "Different sidebars for each forum 1.1.0" is causing the conflict.
