Posted May 25, 20222 yr Hello, how i can change the Date Format Display from "MM/DD//YYYY" to ""DD/MM/YYYY" Cant find these Settings. Please Help
May 25, 20222 yr Community Expert Please see the following guide, which shows how you can change date formats
May 25, 20222 yr Community Expert Have you also ensured you are selecting the correct locale in your language pack? Some areas are covered only by locale settings
May 25, 20222 yr Community Expert You would need to contact your hosting company unfortunately. The location you are referring to is set via the locale on your server, and the locale is setting it to that format
May 25, 20222 yr Author Im using a dedicated Server. I have set locale to german UTF-8 / Timezone: CEST
May 25, 20222 yr Community Expert Unfortunately, its not something we control. The date there is controlled by the locale, so the locale is giving the wrong format unfortunately
May 25, 20222 yr I don't know if it's still the case but I had the same problems a few years ago in some parts of the site but not others: in other words, the locale was doing what it should but was not being applied everywhere. A former employee created a plugin called Customisable Date Formats to work around it. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be available in the Marketplace anymore, presumably because the absence of the author means that it isn't being tested for compatibility later versions of the software.
May 25, 20222 yr Author Solution Thats what im looking for. Im trying to check again locale settings but everything seem german, what is the correct setting in my case. Is there a chance to get this Plugin? Finally i got it. Need to install musl-locales in my docker-alpine image. Thanks for your support ❤️ much love from germany
