Database block feed sort

In a database block feed when I choose sort by : Last update date

the block feed displays the articles as if I choose sort by : Last comment.

I think that the first option refer to the records "last edit time" and must sort the articles in this order??!

What ‘update’ means depends on this database setting:

So, as you can see, it CAN mean “last comment”, or “last edited” or both.

I thought that this options only affects the "new conetnt" stream and not the block feed !!
