LiveG Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 (edited) Hello, I am interested in limiting area in my forum to customers only—customers who paid yearly subscriptions. How do you suggest starting this complicating process? Is the payment system on the marketplace? Thank you. Edited May 19, 2022 by livegames.co.il
Randy Calvert Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 First you need some sort of merchant account such as Stripe if you want to accept credit card or Apple Pay/Google Wallet. You would setup the Commerce app to define subscriptions, payment methods, etc Take a look at the following for configuring stripe as a payment method: And look at the following for info on subscriptions: LiveG 1

Solution Jim M Posted May 20, 2022 Solution Posted May 20, 2022 As Randy mentioned, our Commerce application will be able to assist you here with your goals. It will allow you to take payment and handle renewing products or subscriptions. You can then have it assign a specific member group to users who have an active renewal. Then assign that group with the ability to see all the items you wish in member group permissions. You can read more about Commerce in our Guides here: You currently do not own Commerce so you would need to purchase this in the Client Area if you decide to move forward with it 🙂 .
