NAWAC Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 I understand that there is a way to only show certain forums by group, but what about other content? Can I hide the other stuff, like search bar, Browse >Staff, ONnline Users, and other content?
Solution Jim M Posted February 2, 2022 Solution Posted February 2, 2022 Yes, most modules/items can be controlled by permissions:

Jim M Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Just now, NAWAC said: But those permissions only apply to forums, not the other content The first part of the guide is about Forum permissions and given permission in a few other applications. You will want to scroll down to Module permissions. For example, the "Who's Online" page, can be controlled through Module permissions.
NAWAC Posted February 2, 2022 Author Posted February 2, 2022 (edited) Perfect, I got it to work, except for one module, and that is the Leaderboard (or the Popular Contributors block/widget). How do you hide the Leaderboard widget from showing it to certain Groups? I cannot find how to do that. Edited February 2, 2022 by NAWAC

Unfortunately, this is one of those exceptions as there is no direct permission point for it at this time. Could always limit the menu navigation to those member groups as it will drastically lessen the chance of someone finding it who doesn't have access to the menu to click it.
