Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Susan C. Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 (edited) The gallery is a great feature for my art community. I have members asking if they are able to share a link to view the gallery they create with family/friends. Is there a way to allow this or a workaround that could make this work? Thanks! Runar Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Are the galleries public or for members only? Have you tried to simply copy the URL (address) to the galleries in question?

Great question - right now they are for members only - but I can test out making it public and copying the URL as a workaround. Thanks!
Solution Marc Posted January 10, 2022 Solution Posted January 10, 2022 At present you would indeed just share the link. I have added a suggestion internally for this however SeNioR- and Susan C. 1 1
Susan C. Posted January 11, 2022 Author Posted January 11, 2022 @Marc Stridgen Thanks - but what if we are using the SSO plugin and memberpress and it seems the entire community forum is protected? When I try to view the link for the gallery in an incognito window it asks me to login as a member in order to see it.

Of course, if your site is not viewable by guests, it is not viewable when sharing. That would be the same for sharing any item of content Susan C. 1
