When articles are edited in Pages, they show up as a recent activity in the activity streams, however the date displayed is their original published date, and not the edited date. This looks weird, because we end up have items with really old dates in the middle of a list containing very recent items.

Then it is expected that the records are shown as new in listings and feeds.

My suggestion is for it to show "Updated on [date]" instead of displaying the original published date, because it looks weird when you set up a stream to list the latest contents from the past, say, 7 days, and suddenly you see an article saying it was posted 9 years ago there.
