MacrossWorld Posted October 4, 2021 Share Posted October 4, 2021 Forums/email were working fine, I must have done some sort of system update and now getting a lot of Email Error Logs Everytime a followed post gets saved, it takes 20s+ seconds for the save to complete, so I've disabled all the email alerts and it is fast again. Jim M Posted October 4, 2021 Share Posted October 4, 2021 You’ll want to check the email error logs to see what is being reported there and then contact your email provider if there is an issue being reported by the email server. I’m afraid, server support is outside our scope of support but happy to move this to the community-based server forum if there are no questions with our software. MacrossWorld Posted October 5, 2021 Author Share Posted October 5, 2021 Just to close this out...was under a bot attack from Iran, and the firewall rule I had in place failed to do a successful block. It was consuming all the resources, and causing forum emails to fail. Once I adjusted the firewall rules, the errors promptly went away.
