Post before register improvement due to spam

I'm getting alot of spam through this and support haven't got a solution. I'm getting around 10 bounced emails a day on average which is harming my reputation on Amazon SES, all the email addresses are gmail and similar each time just with dots scattered around meaning the email address is different each time, but all not genuine.

It seems anyone can enter any old email address into here and emails are being sent out regardless. My spam logs are noticing the emails as a '4' so I would suggest the emails not be sent out in this case or at least use some form of capacha on it if not that.
