Why can't we see top members by date?

For example i want to see top content creators in 2020, but i cant find anywhere. 

We can only see who posted the most at all times. 

 

Are you refering to the leaderboard feature?

For example, I want to see top topic creators and comment creators in 2020.

Leaderboard just shows all times as you can see below.

That will require custom coding. 

No you don't but you're only going to get the top 4. Its on the main page:

Specifically "Leaderboard" and you'll want to set the custom date and change "In all areas" to the areas you care about.

The data I want to see is the topic count. Only user points appear in the part you mentioned.

For example, I want to see who created the most topics in 2020, but I guess it is not possible.
