years ago i used to be able to group log ins from FB and twitter. Is this still possible with 4.5?

Also need to group log ins from other IPB sites i have so when they log in for the first time they are put in to the correct groups.

Is this possible?

You mean control which groups those users are placed in? If so, I'm afraid there is no built in manner of placing users in specific groups based upon what login handler they use to login.
