Fast Lane! Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Had a member tell me they could not get the sign up page to work but their friend could from outside of China. A bit of digging shows that ReCaptcha (google based) may be blocked preventing anyone in China from getting past the sign-up page if it is used (including the invisible flavor which we use). Thoughts? @bfarber curious your thought on a fix in the core suite. bfarber Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 The only "fix" would be to disable reCAPTCHA on your site. We can't control which services the Chinese government allows or disallows of course 🙂Â

Using www.recaptcha.net instead of www.google.com as the domain: https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/faq#can-i-use-recaptcha-globally Taking a peek under the hood, it looks like IPS is hardcoding the domain. sychn 1
bfarber Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Fair enough, I've raised it internally. Fast Lane! and sychn 2
