Drewfus Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 I have new problem when I create a new page with info or a widget on the page I set permissions for all to see when I log out as a guest I can’t view the page says I don’t have permission to view am I missing a permission setting?
bfarber Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 If these are pages within the Pages application you should check (1) the permissions for the page itself in AdminCP > Pages > Pages, and (2) the permissions for the pages module if guests cannot see any page under AdminCP > System > Applications, expand the Pages application, and check the permissions for the module(s) listed.
Drewfus Posted September 3, 2020 Author Posted September 3, 2020 Ok just went through all permissions and when I clicked save this is what happen to the site.
Kyle F Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Admin CP > Support. Check the Error and System logs and see what caused the Internal Server Error. This is usually a misconfiguration error. It can be caused by a number of things; server misconfiguration (webserver), htaccess, etc. That's only to name a couple. You can also try disabling all plugins/applications and enable them one by one to see if the error reproduces. Report back with results. 🙂
Drewfus Posted September 3, 2020 Author Posted September 3, 2020 I get the same error for admin also so can't login I had to upload a backup of site and is working now tanks for the help.
Daniel F Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Do you have access to the server logs? Are there any errors logged?
Drewfus Posted September 3, 2020 Author Posted September 3, 2020 no idea if there are any but thanks.
