Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
cpinc Posted November 22, 2019 Posted November 22, 2019 Is there any way to automatically send a member an email or private message if they haven't logged in for a certain amount of time? I have a diet/fitness oriented community, and a big part of it involves members checking in regularly to stay consistent with their diet and workout. So, it would be awesome if we could automatically have a message or email sent to them if they haven't logged in for a while to help get them back on track. Is anything like this possible? Thanks.

Last Visit Date is an option here: It will send a private message, which will also send an email notification.

Just to clarify, would this be automatic? For example, could I set it to automatically send a specific message to a member once 10 days have passed since their last log in? Or would this need to be done manually?

In addition to what Adriano suggested, you can also use the built-in Bulk Mail feature to send to anyone who has not visited in X days. Check the "Member Filters" sub-tab of the Bulk Mail creation page.
