I know right, a shocker, a weird request coming from me? bet you are all surprised.

anyway, could there be two events fired for ipsmentions, first one when the mentions results are opened and a second one when they are closed. this way i know when a mentioned is being used so i can disable any special effects i might have for the enter key (like example in stratagem and babble, hitting the enter key submits the editor content). 

Can't you check if "ul[data-mentionMenu]" is hidden or not?

sorta what i'm doing already, but can sometimes its unpredictable. with an event i can observe, opens up some other possibilities i didn't mention. 

I'll raise it internally - I don't see any harm in doing so, but naturally this won't be like priority #1 or anything either. 😉
