Interferon Posted March 6, 2019 Share Posted March 6, 2019 Once a week, a spammer comes on our forum and posts a dozen spam topics. When I go to delete their content, I am told it is a batched process that will be carried out gradually. If I select this option, the spam posts are sitting on my forum for who knows how long, and I have to go back later to make sure it was all deleted, and my users are complaining the whole time. Jim M Posted March 6, 2019 Share Posted March 6, 2019 If you are not running your background tasks via Cron I would highly suggest setting this up in ACP > System > Advanced Configuration. If you are, something sounds wrong if these are not carried out within a reasonable timeframe and I would suggest submitting a ticket. You may also wish to consider using the Flag as Spammer option which you can hide the posts then have the system delete them with 1 click. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
