Meddysong Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 I thought I was pretty good at Pages but it seems not, since a fairly basic task is confusing me. My articles database is set to show as articles rather than as categories. It's sorted by publishing date with the newest items coming first: It's displaying exactly as I would hope. (I'm sorry that it's not in English but the dates are easy to recognise.) But I've just noticed when viewing a category that it's the older articles coming first: I double-checked using the default listing template set and got the same result: What haven't I understood? I can't see any other options for choosing the sort order.
opentype Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 Listing template sorting is under “Options” in the database settings. Your screenshot shows the front page ordering.
Meddysong Posted February 1, 2019 Author Posted February 1, 2019 I'm so glad you're around and on the ball. How did I manage not to be aware of that? Thank you very much!
